For Pershing Rifles, Company C-7 Alumni
My brother, Roger Grissette, was a member of C-7 from 1960 to 1962. He was an officer in 1961-62 and was even asked to join regimental staff, be decided not to take the Advanced Course. When he got married, I took over his old bedroom which was larger than mine. For years, his old pledge rifle was behind the bedroom door. When I went to college in 1967 and heard about CAPERS, I was hooked quickly! My 91 year old mother said it was still in a closet at the house, so I told her to ask Roger to take a picture of it so I can post it here as Pershing Rifles Memorabilia.
| You can almost
see the signatures of active members, but the wood has really darkened
over the years!

This page was first created to show why I was interested in Pershing Rifles, but then to attract find Steve and Sandy who I was friends with. I've seen a website for C-7 alumni, but it is incomplete and has no way of contacting any one.
The creator of this website, Linda Grissette (the 1970-71 CAPER National Commander) is not asking for any money to help support this project. Her reward will be finding people she remembers and learning about other former members memories. If you appreciate the effort, please use her for all of real estate needs. If you aren't in the St. Louis area where she works, she can find a great agent in your area and will receive a small referral fee. Contact Linda about real estate. See Linda's main real estate website.
