In 1996, I put together the first Junior Swingers reunion. In less than 3 weeks, I got 15 former members to show up at my parents home.  I think it was Ed Sheets who said to Dad, "Mr. G. you sure raised a great bunch of kids."  Look at the 3rd picture below (yes, all those "old people" .... who felt a lot younger that night) to see if you can guess who attended.  Click on the link to find out who is who!!  Many of us had not seen each other since the last time we were at Junior Swingers together.  It took about 15 minutes before we realized that the person we were talking to was, indeed, the same person we knew years ago.  I think we all found some old "best friends" that night.

Stu and I now talk on a regular basis.  Shelby used to live across the street from me.  Ann S. worked for the bank I used while I lived in Bartlesville.  Mickey  (and her dad) used to have real estate licenses with my company.  I call Jack every time I think about it...and it isn't often enough.  Marianne and I try to get together as often as we can and I wish I would see Betty more often.  Lenae and I actually sang in a church choir together.  I was going to First Presbyterian then and they have a tradition that the choir sing for funerals of choir members.  So when she died of cancer a few years, I sang....but it was very hard to do.  Especially when I saw that Stu had gotten there and was sitting a few rows behind Mom and Dad.  For a while Ed and I were in an adult Sunday School class together!!  It's been fun to be back home...and to have old friends back!  I'd love to see more of them...and I'm sure you'd love to see your old best friends again, too.  

We've had 3 more small reunions, but Stu Carpenter and I would love to have another one that is bigger than the first one....and maybe even with some people we haven't even found yet!  I've gotten e-mail addresses in the past for Tom "TA" Adams and Doug Hughes, but they are always old addresses and bounce back.  I know they want to be found because both addresses were found on alumni sites.  Plus I know that some addresses and e-mail addresses I've had are now out of date, so please, everyone, send me your current information. 

I'd love to make this a place full of memories.  I've put the pictures I have, as well as a few of my memories.  But I need more stuff here, so did out your old photo albums and fire up your brains looking for old memories (remember, our minds are like, but better than computers....the memories are all there, we just have to figure out where they are!)
