CAPER Company L-4

This was a company that I though was a company when I started this work, but I had no real proof.  Then I found reference on line to information in the North Caroline State University at Raleigh Library Special Collections.   There are CAPER records dated from 1980 to 1994.

There is also a reference to an organizational meeting in the 1969 Pershing Rifleman with 2 girls attending

In March 2011, I got temporary possession of a binder/file of CAPER information from the PR National Headquarters.  I found a list of CAPER companies dated September 1, 1970, the same day I officially took over as National Commander.  On that list was CAPER Company L-4, so my memory was correct.  When I put together a list of companies with their approximate chartering order, using all the lists I had of companies and other information, I put CAPER Company L-4 as chartering sometime during the 1969-70 school year.

On December 3, 2011, I received the list of members of the new PRNAA Member Association, the North Caroline PR Alumni Association.  On that list is Lucy Woolen who was a CAPER who pledged in 1968.  They are the third PRNAA member association with CAPERS in their membership.
