CAPER Company I-6 or I-16
We know about the CAPER Company at Loyola University in New Orleans, LA, because an alumni (and former company commander) of this company, Leslie (Lambour) Bourerie was found on the Internet. The Loyola alumni association had honored her and her husband for being outstanding alumni. The article mentioned that she had been in CAPERS, so I asked the alumni association to contact her. I hope we can eventually find more alumni of this company that chartered after I had graduated from college.
Because the Pershing Rifles regiments changed in the mid 1970's, we don't know whether this company was designated I-6 or I-16. The funny part is that the two regiments were together as 6th Regiment until the mid-1960's when the 16th Regiment was started. When they were put back together, they became the 16th Regiment! This change would have also totally messed up the CAPER regiments!
