CAPER Company D-15 was located at Hampton Institute (now University) in Hampton, Virginia. They were chartered during the 1968-69 school year, but before the 1969 National Convention. Here is a picture of the members in attendance:

Located just right of the corner of the table, the two representatives of CAPER Company D-15 were Claudia Smith (company commander) and Becky Bailey.
When Linda's husband was stationed at Fort Eustis, Virginia, she went to visit this unit and later was a judge at a drill meet they sponsored. This would have been the year after she graduated, the 1971-72 school years. She also was a judge at their spring drill meet and considered it a real honor. Company D-15 holds the distinction of being the only Caper Company anyone from the National Staff at the University of Oklahoma ever visited.
Linda was also excited when she learned that CAPER Company D-15 still exists, now as Pershing Angels Company U-4-5. We welcome their active and alumni members to this site, too. If they know the actual date of the original charter we would love to get it. I actually hope that the current Pershing Angel Companies can find their CAPER Charters and send us the copies! OK, Pershing Angels, start hunting.
