This is the first page we've created for one of the Pershing Rifles coed groups that didn't charter with CAPERS as far as we know.  This is appropriate for a lot of reasons.  They were the earliest coed group that we know about (started in 1959) that was affiliated with the first Pershing Rifles Company, A-2 at the University of Nebraska.

It's being started first because the the first alumni found from a non-CAPER group is a Cadence Countess!  In August 2010, I found out that one of the other sopranos in my church choir (sits in front of me) was a Cadence Countess, Susan (Powell) Phillips.  Susan is going to be lending me her Cornhusker yearbooks so I can get some good pictures of them to put on this page.  I'll also scan the Company A-2 pictures and the National Headquarters pictures.  Can you imagine a Sooner from the University of Oklahoma borrowing Cornhusker yearbooks?  But I'm doing it for the love of Pershing Rifles and their coed groups!
